Kit possesses excellent engraved panel surface features, highly detailed cockpit and full Packard Merlin V-1650 engine (faired within suitably thin, removable, magnetically secured cowling panels). Includes many assembly options: sandwich construction instrument panel (2 patterns); exhaust stacks (with or without fairing); seats (2 types); rearview mirrors (4 types); canopies (3 types); empennage (with or without fin fillet); drop tanks (75 and 108 gallon) and gunsight (K-14 or N-9). Also features: movable elevators, rudder, ailerons and flaps; sliding canopy; wing gun bays; interchangeable - optional position landing gear; display stand (for in-flight configuration); 1 seated and 1 standing pilot figure; nameplate; canopy mask material; vinyl tires; photo-etch details and 16 page full color photographic reference manual. Decals and painting guide for 3 USAAF aircraft: s/n 44-73304 'Blondie' of the 334th FS, 4th FG; s/n 44-14151 'Petie 2nd' of the 487th FS, 352nd FG and s/n 44-13760 'Glengary Guy/Jackie' of the 79th FS, 20th FG - includes instrument markings and full stencil data.
